About Us

Touching Hearts at Home was founded by Renae Peterson, who began providing professional caregiving services to seniors, older adults, and those in need in 1996. Pictured here is Renae with her mother, Melvina Peterson, who through example displayed what a true gift it is to serve others.

Renae, along with her sons Ryan Lungstrom and Andrew Lungstrom, co-founded the company in 2006, shaping its ethos and setting a high standard for service. Integrity, empathy, and the belief in the dignity of all people is at the forefront of our work. Today, Ryan and Andrew continue carrying that legacy forward with the same commitment to dignity, respect, and exceptional care.

While Renae is no longer involved in the day-to-day leadership of the organization, her compassion, vision, and example remain deeply woven into its foundation. Today, Touching Hearts at Home has independently owned locations serving individuals and families across the nation.
