Legacy of Care

Touching Hearts at Home – Bellevue is owned and operated by John DePalma, who’s journey with in-home care began in 2019 when his father was diagnosed with cancer.

Facing the challenges of managing his dad’s treatments from afar, John convinced his parents to move to Seattle where he would help them navigate the healthcare system and directly influence his dad’s quality of care. When his dad chose to spend his final days at home, living with dignity and respect, John honored his wish through hospice care.

After his father’s passing in 2022, John’s caregiving focus shifted to his mother and, after a brief period of living alone and transitioning to life as a widow, she’s happily settled in a nearby independent living facility in Bellevue where John and his team of caregivers ensures she receives the care and companionship she deserves.

Through every decision, John’s commitment to his parents’ comfort, safety, and quality of life has remained unwavering. It’s this unyielding commitment that sets a high bar for the Standard of Care at Touching Hearts at Home – Bellevue.
