Dave Wollman, Owner<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n\n

After a long and successful career as an executive in the consumer goods industry, I felt a calling to do something more personal \u2014 something that would truly touch lives. Having walked the caregiving journey ourselves while supporting our own parents, my wife and I deeply understood the emotional and physical demands families face during this chapter of life.<\/p>\n

That experience inspired me to launch my Touching Hearts at Home <\/strong>business, where we provide compassionate, in-home care to older adults while helping relieve the stress placed on family caregivers. It\u2019s incredibly rewarding to offer peace of mind to families and to create meaningful employment opportunities for our dedicated care team.<\/p>\n

When I\u2019m not working, you can usually find me enjoying the outdoors, catching a game, or spending time with my greatest new joy \u2014 our first grandchild!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s truly an honor to serve families in our community with the dependable, heartfelt care they deserve.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Sharon J. Mejias, General Manager<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n\n

With nearly 20 years of experience in admissions at a private boarding school in Princeton, New Jersey, Sharon built a career rooted in meaningful relationships and service to others. Her path shifted when an opportunity arose to join a local home health agency\u2014an experience that deeply touched her heart and opened the door to a new calling.<\/p>\n

Soon after stepping into the world of home care, Sharon’s father was diagnosed with cancer and Parkinson\u2019s disease. Her family\u2019s decision to welcome a live-in caregiver gave her an even deeper understanding of the importance\u2014and impact\u2014of compassionate care.<\/p>\n

Now, with close to a decade of hands-on experience in the home care industry, Sharon remains inspired by the many individuals she\u2019s met who share her passion for supporting older adults and their families. She is grateful for the opportunity to live out her values each day, helping improve quality of life through kindness, dignity, and respect.<\/p>\n

Outside of work, Sharon cherishes time with her family and is actively involved in outreach efforts to support the homeless. Kristin Van Dam \u2013 Recruiter<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n\n

Kristin Van Dam joined Touching Hearts at Home in 2021 as a Care Partner, providing compassionate support to clients while pursuing a degree in American Sign Language (ASL) and English Interpretation. Upon completing her degree, she transitioned into the role of Recruiter, where she now focuses exclusively on hiring and training caregivers.<\/p>\n

With prior experience in recruitment and a deep understanding of direct care, Kristin brings a thoughtful and personal approach to caregiver onboarding. She is passionate about building strong, mission-driven teams and finds great fulfillment in connecting with individuals who are called to care.<\/p>\n

Before joining Touching Hearts, Kristin spent over two decades in the field of developmental disabilities. Her experience spans direct care, social work, and leadership\u2014including serving as Director of a vocational training program that supported over 500 individuals with special needs.<\/p>\n

Outside of work, Kristin is actively involved in the Deaf and DeafBlind communities. She volunteers as an ASL Interpreter for her church\u2019s Deaf ministry and enjoys pickleball, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family and two senior pups.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Carissa Ruggiero, Scheduler<\/h2>\n <\/div>\n\n

Carissa Ruggiero has been a dedicated part of the Touching Hearts at Home team for over three years, beginning her journey as a Care Partner. With a heart for helping others and years of experience serving in her church\u2019s Care Ministry, caregiving felt like a natural calling. Her compassion, organization, and leadership quickly led her into the role of Scheduler, where she now plays a vital part in ensuring seamless care for both our team and the families we serve.<\/p>\n

Outside of work, Carissa loves spending time with her adult children and her sweet 3-year-old granddaughter\u2014her pride and joy!
