We’re honored to share a heartfelt story from Eric and Peter, whose mother has been a Touching Hearts at Home client for over two years. After their father passed and their mother’s Alzheimer’s progressed, Eric and Peter, both living out of state, needed a way to support her without the disruption of moving her away from home. They were initially concerned that finding the right Care Partner might be challenging, but from day one, our team found the perfect match. Her Care Partner quickly became a trusted presence in her life, helping with daily medications, appointments, and companionship, which gave Eric and Peter peace of mind.

Because of our Care Partner’s genuine connection and support, their mother has been able to remain in her home, maintaining her independence and quality of life. Now, as she transitions to assisted living, the Care Partner has made this next step a positive one, giving her something to look forward to.
