David and Anita Settle are the proud owners and operators of Touching Hearts at Home of Central Kansas and Touching Hearts at Home of Wichita, private duty in-home care agencies licensed by the state of Kansas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

David brings a diverse professional background to the business, including newspaper publishing, insurance and financial planning, and teaching vocal music at the university level. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Embry-Riddle University. Anita is also a trained musician with a Bachelor of Arts in Voice and Elementary Education from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Her background includes teaching and office management.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

After spending several years caring for David\u2019s mother, David and Anita saw firsthand the critical need for quality private duty in-home care, especially in rural and underserved areas of central Kansas. In April 2018, they opened their first Touching Hearts at Home franchise office in McPherson. They chose Touching Hearts at Home because it is a family-owned franchise system whose values closely aligned with their own.<\/p>\n

Committed to serving rural Kansas families, they have helped hundreds of clients and their loved ones over the years. In September 2025, they expanded by opening a second location in Wichita. Today, their agencies provide compassionate, personalized in-home care to private clients as well as Veterans through the VA Community of Care network.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
