Under the instruction of Carolyn Clark, both she and her sister studied the harp for many years, continuing their lessons all the way through college. Those early experiences laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion.<\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 1280px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-1862-1\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/touchinghearts.com\/cny\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2026\/08\/harp.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/touchinghearts.com\/cny\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2026\/08\/harp.mp4\">https:\/\/touchinghearts.com\/cny\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/43\/2026\/08\/harp.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">While attending Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, a Christmas concert in New York City sparked an even deeper appreciation for music and performance. That passion, combined with her talent and dedication, soon opened new opportunities. During her sophomore year, she was approached by the conductor of the Scranton Philharmonic and invited to perform with the orchestra. She was even selected to perform a solo piece, a memorable honor for any musician.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:1,&quot;335551620&quot;:1,&quot;335559738&quot;:210,&quot;335559739&quot;:210,&quot;335559740&quot;:300}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">After earning her master&#8217;s degree, she returned to Syracuse and continued sharing her love of music with others.\u00a0She organized a group of Syracuse University students who\u00a0gathered\u00a0every Friday evening to perform at the Hotel Syracuse.
