Thank you for the awesome care/service you provide for my mother. I greatly appreciate it!
About a year or so ago, I contacted Diane to help my mother with some mental, emotional and physical issues. Diane has been a Godsend. Not only has she helped getting her from place to place but she also has given her a more positive attitude and has been a welcome sounding board for some emotional concerns. She’s made a world of difference!
I was in my early to mid 80’s when my life became quite complicated! I was dealing with several serious health issues (both physical and mental). I became very weak and did not feel confident about driving. My sister recommend a young lady from her faith sharing group who was interested in helping people for a living. I interviewed Diane! She was such a warm, willing and friendly person! She now drives me to and from appointments and helps me with shopping – or shops for me. She is always on time, very dependable and cheerful. She handles herself well in emergencies, contacts doctors if necessary, prepares small meals, runs local errands and helps to share my problems as a friend.
I taught college for 31 years. They were happy years. But they became very happy when students would come for references. In 31 years many of my students went on to higher education with scholarships because of my references. This reference gives me particular joy. Diane came to work for me at a time when I needed her. She functions as a caregiver who has made my stroke and Parkinson’s disease tolerable. I will miss her terribly. She is gifted with good humor and is particularly sensitive to other’s needs. I feel certain that she will bring all of her skills to any need that you may have. I recommend her without any reservations.
I wanted to let you know that Margaret saved my life this week. She probably didn’t mention it but she did! We all know how I depend on my IPhone to connect to the world, and most importantly, admit entry to TH and aides. Well, my apps were not opening and I didn’t know why. It was 3:15pm on Thursday afternoon and I was at home alone. Frantic, I called Margaret to see if she could find someone to take me to Verizon. Well, she came herself in spite of feeling like a migraine was coming, she was hungry and extremely tired. She tried to reboot it, but that failing, we sped over to Verizon and they diagnosed the problem: moisture. It was fixed and we returned home. But it would have been disastrous if Margaret had not recognized the emergency and come to my rescue. As she always is, she was cool, calm and focused and got the problem resolved! I am so grateful you have such a dynamite staff! I just wanted you to know one of the many things she does for me.
Diane has taken care of my husband for over a year, and both he and I are grateful for her help. She’s been reliable, compassionate, and energetic. Always positive and cheerful, she has engaged John in activities, sees things to be done, and is quick to offer suggestions to make his life easier. I’ve been able to leave John with her with an easy heart, knowing that he’ll be in capable and caring hands. John is always pleased to hear that Diane is coming; she brings vitality with her.
I have Multiple System Atrophy which is a form of Parkinsonism. I use an electric wheelchair and need assistance with most activities of daily life. Diane Ferry has been a caregiver for me for over two years. SHe is a very positive caring person. She goes far beyond what my physical needs are. Anecdotally my wheelchair sometimes hits the house walls, marking them. Diane saw this and without being asked brought in a special product and got on her hands and knees to remove the marks. There are multiple examples of her seeing what needs to be done and doing it, whether or not it falls in what would be considered normal duties for a caregiver. I’m proud to call her a friend in addition to a caregiver and would recommend her to anyone needing assistance of any sort.
Thank you for all your help on our mini-vacation! You made it so much easier for us both! John is still talking about what a good time he had, and that was the whole point. I’m so glad it worked as well as it did! Bless your heart!
