About Us

My journey to working with older adults and the home care industry started nearly 20 years ago.

After my bachelor’s degree in social work in 2000, I was working with kids as a licensed social worker. It wasn’t long before I realized that this position wasn’t a good fit for me.

Fortunately, a colleague of mine encouraged me to apply with Aging Services program with the State of Nevada. Thankfully I landed the job and soon discovered that I loved working with older adults and helping to arrange home care services. Many thanks for my friend (Bertil) for showing me the path. After working for this government agency and getting a master’s degree in public policy, I felt called to a position with a company that provides home care services to older adults.

In April 2015, I became the owner of Touching Hearts at Home South Denver, and I continue to bring the same energy and enthusiasm to help clients in the Denver Metro Area that I’ve had ever since I started in this field. As the owner, my goals include inspiring our team to provide the best possible care for our awesome clients, to always improve, to bring hospitality to home care ,and be recognized as one of the top providers of non-medical home care in the Denver Metro area. It is also important for our team to give back to the community. Currently, we help with Meals on Wheels out of Littleton, CO and volunteer with a senior companion program in Broomfield area. I’ve also held leadership positions with the SW chapter of the Denver Senior Coalitions.

At Touching Hearts at Home South Denver, our amazing caregivers look forward to making a difference every day with our clients, as we implement some of the cool things we learned from Zappos with Customer Service do our best to WOW our clients.
