Gentle Ways to Introduce In-Home Support Without Overwhelming a Loved One
Gentle steps and open conversations can help seniors accept home care while maintaining comfort, independence, and trust in daily routines.
We are blessed and honored that our executive director & administrator, Christina M. Ramos, was recognized and named a National HomeCare Hero.
Christina got into the home care business following her grandmother’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Unsatisfied with their own family’s experience with several home care companies —which she calls “one nightmare after another”—she and her parents decided to open their own, Touching Hearts at Home, in 2010.
Christina advocates for her community through fundraisers, events, and community connections, not just for their clients but for all seniors in the North Central Florida area.
