Touching Hearts at Home had the privilege and pleasure of honoring seniors for Global Senior Citizen Day by dedicating ten trees donated by Blooming House Nursery in Newberry, Fla. to ten (10) nursing homes in Gainesville & Lake City. The trees were dedicated to the senior residents to honor their outstanding accomplishments and achievements thus far.
Christina Ramos, Community Care Advocate for Touching Hearts at Home had the following to say about this special initiative: “We really appreciate and respect their generation, and have so much to be thankful to them for. They have made so many great sacrifices and contributions to society, and this is just a small token of our appreciation. We also want to make sure that the residents in these nursing home communities realize that they are not alone or forgotten during these difficult times, and that Touching Hearts at Home is thinking of them, we care about them, and we wish them all the very best, especially during this pandemic. If we can brighten one senior’s day or make them smile, then it’s all worth it!”
