In honor of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Longest Day<\/em><\/strong> and to coincide with the Summer Solstice, Touching Hearts at Home<\/em><\/strong> will host a community-wide fundraiser to donate donuts to seniors in our community at over 12 assisted living communities during “the Longest Week”, which takes places June 20-June 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

We are asking everyone to consider donating a dozen or more Krispy Kreme donuts to seniors within our community to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. For just $10, a dozen donuts will be donated in your name or your company’s name to brighten seniors’ days and support the fight against Alzheimer’s & dementia at the same time. Donuts will be purchased from Krispy Kreme and Touching Hearts at Home will deliver the donuts during the week of June 22. Please visit www.gofundme.com\/donuts-for-seniors<\/a> to donate. For every dozen donuts donated, $4 will go to Krispy Kreme to pay for the cost of the donuts (our discounted bulk rate), and $6 will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Companies wishing to sponsor #DonutsforSeniors should contact Christina Ramos at C.Ramos@TouchingHearts.com<\/em> to coordinate their sponsorship and donut donation. Sponsors can also sponsor a specific assisted living facility’s seniors with donuts. Companies who donate $500 or more (50 dozen donuts) will receive logo recognition on our commemorative Donuts for Seniors t-shirts, which will also be sold to raise monies for the Alzheimer’s Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
