Ways Companion Care at Home Helps Seniors to Avoid Falls
Fall prevention is a big part of what companion care at home does to help aging adults stay safe. They…
Adriaunna Fisher, Recruiter and HR Manager, joined the Touching Hearts at Home family in August of 2021. With eight years of experience in home care, she brought to the team her knowledge in scheduling, human resources, recruitment, and retention! Adriaunna’s job is to seek out, hire, train, and retain great Caregivers. And that she does! She continues to help build an outstanding Care Team while also providing additional support to the Schedulers to help match Caregivers to their clients. Adriaunna is a problem solver with a big heart. Caregivers know they can reach out to her with any questions: about their client or life in general!
We asked Adriaunna to answer a few questions about herself, and here’s what she had to say:
“I’m a Missouri native. I moved to Nashville in 2018 for a fresh start, and I love it. I have two little girls who keep me on my toes. I love watching football, traveling, and making TikTok famous recipes.”
“I’ve worked in Home Care since 2014. I started out working as Administrative Assistant, and then I worked as a Scheduler for a couple of years before moving to Nashville.”
“I love that Home Care provides an opportunity for older adults to receive one on one care specific to their needs. Unlike in facilities, our clients’ caregivers are able to focus solely on their needs, providing a higher quality of care overall. Home Care allows us to make a difference in people’s lives and that’s a beautiful thing.”
“It’s always exciting to hear about their accomplishments and experiences during their younger years.”
“I like to say we have a rainbow of personalities on our team, and I really enjoy getting to know all of our caregivers. I especially enjoy watching our newbies grow and perfect their caregiving skills. We have such a strong team of individuals who care and advocate for our clients daily. I really enjoy working with a team of people who are selfless and passionate about caring for others.”
