Last month Touching Hearts<\/strong><\/em><\/a> hosted its Summer \u201cNacho Average Caregiver Meeting<\/strong><\/em>\u201d! Caregivers enjoyed a Nacho Bar and the summer theme donned with fun flower leis, Touching Hearts chapstick, and sunglasses.<\/p>\n

As with all meetings, they opened with a reading of the company\u2019s mission:<\/p>\n

\u201cOur goal is for Touching Hearts to be the premier provider of home care throughout Middle Tennessee. We are committed to building a successful business while serving others.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOur commitment to our Caregivers is to provide a strong foundation of support through communication, education, and appreciation. We value the people we serve and those who serve alongside us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jonathan Jurgens, PT, DPT, OCS. and Lori Eaves, Area Vice President of Amedisys Home Health Care joined the meeting for a special training on how Home Health and Home Care can partner to help clients with overall quality of living. Caregivers were advised on what to do if they notice a change in condition for their client and the ways Home Health can help them. They were also able to ask in depth questions and came out with a better understanding of the role Home Health can play.<\/p>\n

During the meeting Caregivers were recognized for their Year of Service Anniversaries, Caregivers of the Month, and Superlatives including Best in Dementia, Best Caregiving Team, and more! In light of the Nacho Average Caregiver Meeting they had lots giveaways and a fun summer photo booth! They concluded with a raffle of Touching Hearts gear and VISA and restaurant gift cards to treat the Caregivers who work so hard to provide outstanding care to their clients.<\/p>\n

Touching Hearts at Home of Middle Tennessee hosts 3 Caregiver Meetings each year to provide additional training, a sense of community, and to love on the Caregivers who provide such outstanding care to their clients.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t wait for the next one in December!!<\/p>\n\n\t\t
