These and other herbal teas can be soothing to your senior’s digestive tract, which may help her to feel more comfortable eating.
Some herbal teas are so calming that they can help your senior to fall asleep a little bit easier. Having some chamomile tea before bed can be part of her bedtime routine, for example. Other herbal teas may not necessarily promote sleep, but the act of sipping a warm, soothing beverage before bed can help your senior’s brain to unwind and prepare for sleeping.
Keeping up with tea preparation may be easier for your senior with the help of elder care professionals, especially if she wants to start getting more in the habit of enjoying a variety of teas.
