We can provide 24\/7 care with caregivers who live with our client and perform the full range of in-home companion care, such as safety oversight, standby assistance with bathing and toileting, medication reminders, housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, shopping, laundry and memory care. This arrangement enhances relationship-building and limits the number of people in the home for purposes of disease prevention. It also cost-effective because it includes a discounted rate vs. 24\/7 care performed in shifts.<\/p>\n

Live-in companions must be provided with a private place to sleep, access to a bathroom with shower, and kitchen privileges. They must be permitted 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep and 3 hours of breaks during every 24 hour period. Companions provide their own food and supplies unless the client agrees otherwise.<\/p>\n

Live-in care usually involves one companion living-in 5 days a week and 1-2 others taking the remainder of the time.<\/p>\n
