Seven-Year-Old Boy Visits an Elderly Neighbor Multiple Times Each Day<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Seven-year-old Caleb was used to walking to his grandmother’s home to visit her. He noticed an older woman along his route and started stopping to talk to her. That woman was in the second year of a battle with both breast and lung cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pair bonded and Caleb started stopping in to check on her multiple times per day. The woman wants to remain in her home, so Caleb’s visits are providing her with companionship and security knowing someone will be by to see how she’s doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plumber Provides Repairs Free of Charge<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

English plumber James Anderson started a non-profit in 2017 after witnessing an alarming interaction between a contractor and an elderly homeowner. Disabled and Elderly Plumbing and Heating Emergency Repair has helped with plumbing and heating system repairs for more than 2,000 homeowners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the jobs he completed was for a 91-year-old with cancer. She needed her boiler fixed, so Anderson and his team completed the repairs. All of this work is done free of charge. He relies on donations to help keep his non-profit going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man Pays Off an Elderly Couple’s Debt<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Jimmy Ford was making a living as a repossession agent when he met Pat and Stanford Kipping. His job was to repossess their car. They’d missed five payments due to the cost of their required prescription medications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than possess their car, he paid the money they owed. He also started a GoFundMe that paid off the remaining balance of their car loan and provided month to cover their medical bills. When he learned that Stanford passed away, he returned to Pat’s life and raised the money she’d need for his medical bills and to replenish some of the savings she’d used to pay the funeral costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunnyvale Officers Repair a Wheelchair Ramp<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Police officers received a call to a Sunnyvale, California, home for a medical emergency. After handling the situation, they took note of the poor condition of the elderly couple’s wheelchair ramp. The couple was financially unable to cover the cost of having it fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The officers left the home and returned later with the supplies needed to repair the ramp. While the video of the officers fixing the ramp went viral, they insist they didn’t want the recognition and were just doing what needed to be done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
