Our leadership team headed to the Elaine Wolf Theatre for the 2nd Annual Raising the Roof with Laughter. Aging at 5280 hosted the evening. Touching Hearts at Home was proud to sponsor. Even so, the sponsorship wasn’t the best part. Being in that room was.

A room full of laughter

First, the comedy. Nancy Norton headlined, and she delivered. Meanwhile, a theatre full of senior care professionals laughed until they cried.

These are people who spend their days in hard conversations with families. So a night like this matters more than it sounds. We needed it. Honestly, we all did.

The story that stayed with us

But the highlight wasn’t a punchline. Instead, it was Jeremy talking about a book.

The Argyle’s team read Unreasonable Hospitality together. The idea is simple. You don’t just meet expectations. Rather, you go far beyond them, in ways people never forget.
