About Us

Jan was born and raised in East Kilbride, (just outside Glasgow) in Scotland. As an adult, she has also lived in Oregon, Ireland and has been here in Arizona for 20 years. Jan has been married for 27 years and has 3 children. Growing up and regularly helping care for elderly grandparents, Jan has gained experience with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Strokes. Jan’s business career includes 33 years of customer service, including running a successful real estate business for the last decade. Touching Hearts at Home is a natural fit for Jan’s background. She is excited to have the opportunity to care for people and build a business with heart and compassion.

“Bri” was born in Michigan while her father was stationed at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, but was raised in Arizona where she has spent most of her life building connections within the community. With a background in caregiving, care management, and community outreach, Bri brings both compassion and creativity to her role at Touching Hearts at Home. She is passionate about serving seniors and individuals with special needs and takes pride in helping families feel supported, informed, and confident in the care their loved ones receive. Bri believes meaningful care is built on trust, dignity, and genuine human connection.

DeAnn was born and raised in South Dakota. She has lived in Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota and Colorado. She lived in Colorado for 35 years before making Arizona home. She has 2 grown sons and her family continues to expand. Her past jobs include working as a Supervisor for a large financial company, Software Tester & Paralegal. She found herself needing to find in home caregiving for her mother. She finally found the right fit; it was a tremendous help to her & her family.  When her mom passed away, she knew she needed to give back to other families in similar situations. In 2011, she decided to switch career paths and started working at Touching Hearts at Home, in Colorado where she finally found the job that serves her heart! In 2016, she was awarded the Touching Hearts at Home National Caregiver of the Year Award. She moved to Arizona in 2021 and has continued working with Touching Hearts at Home. She is our Assessment Manager and Community Engagement Professional.

Growing up in California, I discovered my passion for helping others and became a Certified Nursing assistant (CNA) at 16 years old. Caregiver is truly in my nature and I have always found immense joy in spending time with seniors. On our team, I combine life-long experience with deep empathy to provide reliable professional care that treats your loved ones like family.
