The Importance of Consistency in Alzheimer's Care at Home
Alzheimer's Care in Parker CO: For seniors aging in place with Alzheimer's disease, consistency isn't simply a nice-to-have element.
This year’s Nurses Week theme is “The Power of Nurses,” and if you’ve met Emily Hellweg, you’ve seen that power in action.
Emily began her nursing career in the fast-paced ER at Parker Adventist Hospital over 10 years ago. She’s still there occasionally, picking up PRN shifts to stay sharp and connected to patient care. But today, her impact stretches even further.
As our Vice President of Operations at Touching Hearts at Home, Emily leads with heart and purpose—overseeing the day-to-day operations of more than 150 caregivers and nurses in the field. She also runs our private nursing program, bringing skilled, compassionate care directly into our clients’ homes.
Emily’s strength is in blending clinical excellence with real-world leadership. She knows what it’s like to hold a patient’s hand during a crisis—and she brings that same steady presence to our team every day.
This Nurses Week, we celebrate Emily—and every nurse who leads with courage, compassion, and commitment. Thank you for the difference you make.
Happy Nurses Week!
