Touching Hearts has provided such relief with one live-in caregiver. We no longer worry about whether mom & dad’s caregivers are going to show up for their shift, having to deal with constant scheduling issues or if yet another new caregiver would be sent, unfamiliar to our parents and unaccustomed to their routine.
Dad was so happy he could go home from the rehab hospital before he transitioned into a community. I did not feel comfortable sending my husband to rehab after knee replacement surgery due to his dementia.
