Paula Skinner was our 2019 Caregiver of the year. Last night was a great reminder of why she was chosen for this honor over a year ago. We received the following message from her last night.
“I am always anxious starting a new client. I pray on my way to the home and ask God to let me be just what they need. Well Haley, I received the most precious gift only an hour after meeting Ms. Jones (name changed for privacy purposes). Please be blessed by this video! It blessed my heart more than I have words to say. After being off work for so long, Touching Hearts along with my savior above knew just where I needed to be tonight. I’m sure you recognize the song, Victory in Jesus.”

Caregivers like Paula are angels among us. We are so fortunate to have Paula on our team and grateful that she took the time to share this blessing. It is often said that our Caregivers bring joy to our clients. I have no doubt that this is true. However, I also feel strongly that our clients remind us what life is all about.
