Ways Companion Care at Home Helps Seniors to Avoid Falls
Fall prevention is a big part of what companion care at home does to help aging adults stay safe. They…
Each month our office staff nominates a Caregiver who consistently goes above and beyond for their clients to be recognized as our Caregiver of the Month. This month the team voted for Krystle Lemay! Krystle is one of our Premier Caregivers in the Columbia area and provides outstanding care.
This past month her client’s son, the Family Caregiver, became ill, so he needed additional help to provide 24/7 care for his Mom as quickly as possible. Without hesitation, Krystle committed to being there are much as she could, which included cancelling personal appointments and picking up overnight shifts (which she does not normally do) just to help the client and her family.
Outside of this phenomenal act of compassion, Krystle has been a dedicated Caregiver to this family and many others which is demonstrated through her timeliness, preparedness to work, and communication with the family and the office staff.
As with many of our Caregivers, Krystle came to Touching Hearts at Home with more than 10 years of experience in the field, and this is her calling. Upon being hired, we ask everyone why they enjoy being a Caregiver. Krystle responded, “I love knowing that I am able to help someone and help give them a better quality of life and a friend.”
Words cannot express our gratitude for Krystle and the many Caregivers who are driven with the same compassion for the Senior Community.
Congratulations to Krystle Lemay for being our February 2022 Caregiver of the Month!
