Touching Hearts at Home would like to say “thank you” to nurses everywhere for answering the call in providing care for those in need. Nurses are the heart of healthcare and are to be celebrated for the work they do.
At Touching Hearts we cross paths with nurses daily that have a significant impact on the lives of those in the Senior Community. Today, we would like to spotlight 2 nurses from AdamsPlace Assisted Living that go above and beyond.
We asked our Director of Business Development for Rutherford County, Autum Radtke, who we should spotlight and she immediately thought of Jennifer Parrish and Maranda Watters.
Jennifer Parrish is the Director of Health Services at AdamsPlace Assisted Living. She been a nurse for 25 years and while she enjoys all areas of nursing, her heart is with the elderly community. She treats her residents like family and they love her in return. She has 3 amazing boys, Jake, Charlie, and Sam and a sweet labradoodle, Sadie. In her free time, she enjoys watching the Braves play baseball and cheering on the UT Vols. GBO!! Her favorite quote is, “Go do good things” and she says that to her team every day.
Maranda Watters has worked at AdamsPlace Assisted Living for 5 years and is now serving as the Assistant Director of Health Services. She has been a Nurse for 14 years. She has a passion for helping others and embraces the opportunity to work with the elderly population. When I’m not at work, she enjoys spending my time her 3 children and 3 grandchildren, bingeing Netflix, and adding items to her Amazon cart!
If you would like us to feature a special Nurse in your community, please send their information to Haley Johnson at haleyjohnson@touchighhearts.com. We would love to celebrate more Nurses this week…and ongoing!
